Please read this. This document was prepared to reflect how we actually operate and to follow current industry practice. It is not legal advice, and we are not a law firm. Before this is relied on, it should be reviewed by an attorney licensed in Indiana and in the states where we sell, because privacy and telemarketing rules differ by state and change often.
This policy explains what we collect when you call us or use this website, why we collect it, who we pass it to, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than the usual wall of defined terms.
Who we are
DreamCore Smart Connections LLC is an independent authorized retailer of internet, television and home services, based at 6810 Salge Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46835. We are authorized through the distributors the providers use. We are not a service provider, and we do not act on any provider's behalf.
What we collect
Only what is needed to find out what is available at your address and to place an order for you.

What we deliberately do not collect
Our agents are instructed never to ask you for, or write down, any of the following:
- Social Security numbers
- Credit or debit card numbers, or bank details
- Passwords or account credentials of any kind
Where a provider requires a payment method or an identity check, you enter it yourself, directly with that provider, on their own system. It does not pass through us and no agent of ours sees it. If anyone claiming to be from DreamCore asks you for these, hang up and call us on .
Call recording
We record every call, inbound and outbound, and we tell you so at the beginning. It protects you as much as it protects us: if there is ever a dispute about what was agreed, there is a recording of it rather than two memories.
Twelve states require every party on a call to consent to being recorded, rather than just one: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington. Our announcement at the start of the call is how that consent is asked for. If you would prefer not to be recorded, tell the agent and they will end the call; we cannot continue the call without it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. Nobody pays us for it and we have no arrangement to let anyone have it.
We pass your details to three kinds of company, and only as far as is needed:
- The provider you choose - because the order is ultimately an account with them, and they cannot open it without your name, address and contact details.
- The authorized distributor for that provider - because the order is submitted through their system.
- Microsoft, as our advertising platform - not your order details, but the fact that a visit which came from one of their advertisements went on to call us or submit the form. This is how we find out which advertising works. It is described in full in the next section, and you can switch it off.
- Cloudflare, only if you run the speed test - the test sends and receives data with Cloudflare's nearest server to measure your connection, so Cloudflare sees your IP address for the duration of the test, as any website you visit does. We send them nothing about you, and we have switched off their result reporting. Nothing happens unless you press the button.
Once your details reach a provider, that provider's own privacy policy governs what they do with them. We would encourage you to read it; we can tell you which provider we are submitting to before we submit.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example in response to a lawful request from a regulator, a court, or law enforcement.
Cookies and advertising
We advertise on Bing. Advertising costs money per click, so we need to know which clicks turned into real enquiries and which were wasted. That measurement is the only reason anything on this site tracks you at all.

If we later advertise on another platform we will add its tag to this table before it goes live, not after.
There is no Meta pixel, no session recorder, and no analytics suite building a profile of your browsing across other people's websites. The address checker and the speed test run in your browser and talk only to our own server.
What those tags can and cannot see
They see pages viewed on this site, the advertisement or search that brought you here, an approximate location from your IP address, your browser and device type, and whether you reached a page we count as an enquiry. Microsoft may combine that with what they already know about the browser you are using.
They do not receive your order: not your name, not your service address, not what you told the agent on the call, and not the recording. Those never leave our own systems and the providers' systems.
Being straight about what this counts as
Under California's privacy law and several others, passing identifiers to an advertising platform for measurement and targeting counts as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands and we would not describe it as selling your data. Rather than argue about the label, we give you the opt-out that comes with it. See the next section.
Your rights
Twenty states now have comprehensive consumer privacy laws: California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island. The exact wording differs, but they broadly give you the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Receive it in a portable, machine-readable format
- Opt out of its sale (which we do not do), and of its sharing for cross-context advertising and targeted advertising (which we do, in the limited way described above, and which you can switch off)
- Not be treated worse for exercising any of the above
We extend these rights to everyone who contacts us, wherever you live, rather than checking your state first. Email info@dreamcoresmartconnections.com or call and say what you want. We will verify that the request really is from you - usually by confirming details we already hold - and respond within 45 days. If we need longer we will tell you why before that deadline passes.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of there. We do share advertising measurement data with Microsoft as described above, and you can stop that in any of three ways:
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. This is the easiest and it works automatically - see below.
- Email or call us and say you want to opt out. We will confirm it in writing.
- Block the tags at your end with any standard content blocker. We do not detect blockers or nag you about them, and the site works normally without them.
Opting out does not change what we can find for you, what you pay, or how we treat you. It only means we stop being able to tell which advertisement you came from.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it: the advertising tags described above are not loaded at all for that visit. This is a technical block rather than a promise - the code checks for the signal before the tags run, so there is nothing to trust us about.
How long we keep things
Order records and call recordings are kept for as long as we may need them to deal with a question about your order or a dispute, and to meet record-keeping obligations that apply to us - generally five years. Internal do-not-call entries are kept permanently, because the whole point of them is that they do not expire. Enquiries that never became an order are deleted within twelve months.
Advertising measurement is not kept by us at all - it lives in the Microsoft Advertising account, under Microsoft's retention rules, and we see it only as totals. The cookies those tags set expire on their own; clearing your browser data removes them immediately.
Security
Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to do their job, and it is logged. Agents work in defined roles and can see only what those roles allow. Because we never collect payment details or Social Security numbers, the most damaging categories of data simply are not present in our systems to be lost.
No system is perfect, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something. If we ever suffer a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
This site and our service are for adults arranging services for their own household. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will change the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will say so plainly rather than hoping you do not notice.
